The Vipers (6-6-0) have hit their stride now with 4 straight good efforts and 3 of those resulting in wins. They’ve outscored the opposition 12-6 over the 3 game set. Most recently they put up a season high 44 shots in a 3-2 win over Merritt on Wednesday. Newly acquired Dawson Holt scored the game winner in the final minute of regulation. Matt Kowalski tallied 3 assists in the effort and Reilly Herbst improved to 3-0 on the season stopping 29 of 31.
The Vees (11-2-0) have dropped 2 straight games after winning 11 straight to start the season. The schedule has been road heavy for the Vees with just 1 true home game in the first 13 games.
