VERNON, B.C. OCTOBER 29th, 2016
The Vernon Vipers welcome the Merritt Centennials to wrap up a brief 2 game home stand and the month of October. This is an important game for the Vipers who will embark on a 4 game road trip in 4 different cities in a 7 day span.
The Vipers played a tightly contested game last night, but came out on the wrong end of a 4-2 score against the Penticton Vees. The Vipers made it close with 2 goals in a short span late in the second period, but couldn’t overcome the deficit.
Tonight’s game is the second leg of a long road trip for the Merritt Centennials as they made the long trek to Wenatchee last night, suffering a tough 5-3 loss before they move on to Powell River, Alberni Valley and Nanaimo next weekend.
Here is the tale of the tape between these two teams.
