The Vipers have acquired the CJHL playing rights to goalie Jarrod Schamerhorn (95) from the Merritt Centennials in exchange for future considerations.
Schamerhorn started last season with the Western Hockey League's Portland Winterhawks before being delt to the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
Schamerhorn would finish the 2013-14 season with the Merritt Centennials playing in eight games going 5-3 with a 3.08 GAA
