Vipers finish three game road trip tonight in Westside

The 5th place Vernon Vipers (27-25-1-2) visit the 6th place Westside Warriors (20-28-2-7) in their eighth and final meeting of the regular season.

The Vipers lead the season series 5-2

Tonight is the Vipers third and final game of a three game road trip and their fourth and final visit of the season to Royal Le Page Place.  The Vipers are coming off back to back losses in Cowichan Valley and Powell River last weekend with just two wins in their last seven games.  Vernon has just one win in it’s last eighteen games away from home where they are 7-19-0-1  The Vipers sit in 5th place seven points back of 4th place Chilliwack after the Chiefs 3-1 win in Westside last night.  The Vipers return home to face the 3rd place Prince George Spruce Kings Sunday afternoon.

Mike Zalewski (34-34-68) leads the Vipers in scoring & in goals.

Tonight is the fifth game of a five game home stand and the final regular season home game for the Westside Warriors after a 3-1 loss loss last night to the visiting Chilliwack Chiefs.  The Warriors are 13-11-1-4 at home.  The Warriors who wont be in this years BCHL playoffs will finish the regular season with their final two games on the road in Chilliwack & Surrey.  Westside has two wins in their last eight games. 

Connor Dempsey  (23-33-56) leads the Warriors in scoring & in goals.
