Vipers Game Day – Vipers Make Only Visit to Cowichan

Duncan, BC:  The Vernon Vipers look to win their third straight game as they battle the Cowichan Valley Capitals for the only time this season.

Last Game:  The Vipers were victorious last night, taking down the Victoria Grizzlies by a 6-4 score.  Erik Pastro, Carson McGinley, Luke Pakulak, Owen Kim, Shea Busch and Hank Cleaves scored the goals.  Ethan David was busy with 46 saves on 50 shots.  The Vipers were 1 for 2 on the powerplay and killed off all 4 penalties.

Last Game:  The Capitals saw their winless streak extended to 4 games last night as they were downed by the Alberni Valley Bulldogs 5-3.  Luke Lavery, Dryden Kuramoto and Gavin Giesbrecht had goals.  Cody Butikis made 29 saves on 33 shots.  The Caps were 1 for 3 on the powerplay and a perfect 2 for 2 on the penalty kill.
