The Island Division Pennant winning Nanaimo Clippers make their first and only visit of the regular season to Kal Tire Place. The Clippers are lead by former Vernon Vipers Head Coach-GM Mike Vandekamp who is in his fourth season with Nanaimo. The Clippers are coming off a 4-2 loss in Penticton Friday night are playing the third game of a four game road trip. The Clippers have lost six of their last eight road games. Nanaimo has won three of their last five games and are 7-2-0-1 in their last ten. The Clippers sit atop the Island Division are chasing the Penticton Vees for the League title sit eight points back of the League leading Vees. Nanaimo is third overall in the BCHL are thirteen points up on Powell River. The Clippers are the highest scoring team with 220 goals while third in the league with 149 goals against behind Vernon & Penticton.

Sheldon Rempal (26-22-48) leads the Clippers in goals with twenty six while Bredan Taylor (22-33-55) leads the Clippers in points with fifty five.
