Vipers look to even series before heading to Coquitlam

Tonight is the fifth meeting of the season (regular season & playoffs) between the Vipers & Express. The regular season series was tied 1-1 while the Vipers won the one playoff game during the Round Robin playoff Tournament. Coquitlam leads the Fred Page Cup Finals 1-0. Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers snapped their three game winning streak after falling 6-4 at home in Game 1 Friday. The Vipers have lost just nine games all season (Regular Season & Playoffs) at home this year drop the first game in a playoff series for the second time in three series.

Vernon’s Junior Hockey Team’s have now made the BCHL League Finals 19 times since 1970 with a record of 12-6.

The Coquitlam Express make their fourth visit of the season (Regular Season & Playoffs) to Kal Tire place tonight are coming off a 6-4 come from behind victory in Game 1 last night. The Express have won three straight picked up their first win in Vernon since before the 2003-04 regular season. Due to the stats only going back to the 2003-04 regular season, I dont know when exactlly the last Coquitlam win in Vernon was. Games 3 & 4 go Monday-Tuesday in Coquitlam.

Ryan Rosenthal (12-6-18) leads the Express in goals during the playoffs with twelve and in points during the playoffs with eighteen.
