Vipers Lose 4-3 To Salmon Arm

The Vernon Vipers dropped a 4-3 decision to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in a penalty filled game at Kal Tire Place. Special teams were key as five were scored were on the power play including the Vipers going three for eight while the S-backs were two for ten. It was the second straight win for Salmon Arm who beat the Vipers the night before 5-1.

Vipers Assistant coach Kevin Kraus says the team spent too much time in the penalty box.


Meanwhile the games second star #24 Callum Volpe agrees that the team got into some penalty trouble again.

 

The Vipers sit in fourth place in the BCHL Interior Conference standings, six points back of Salmon Arm and six points ahead of Trail. The Vipers are on the road when they play Coquitlam on Wednesday, December 2nd. Catch all the action on KISS FM starting with the pre-game show at 6:45pm.
