Vipers Lose 5-4 Heartbreaker!

The West Kelowna Warriors scored the game winning goal with just five seconds left to defeat the Vipers 5-4. The Vipers led 3-1 after 1 period and 4-3 after 2 periods. The Warriors were able to tie the game up on the powerplay early in third before Forsters goal in the final moments.

The Viper goal scorers were Joe Sacco (9), Odeen Tufto (23), Ben Butcher (13) and Latrell Charleson (6).

Warrior goals game from Jonathan Desbiens (43,44), Kylar Hope (27), Jake Harrison (7) and Garrett Forster (25).

Andrew Shortridge stopped 40 of 45 while Matthew Greenfield turned aside 29 of 33. Kevin Kraus speaks of the frustration in losing in the final moments and how important tomorrow’s out of division game is.
