Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of defenceman Etienne Lessard (04).
“Etienne is a skilled offensive defenceman that will come in and add a puck moving dynamic to our backend,” says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. “Our staff looks forward to working with Etienne in achieving his long term goals of becoming a Division 1 College players.”
Lessard, from Blainville, QC, has 6 goals and 29 assists in just 22 games with the Cornwall Colts of the CCHL.
“I’m very excited to join the Vernon Vipers,” says Lessard. “I will give my 100% to help the team win and I can’t wait to get started.”
Lessard recently represented Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge where he posted 6 assists in 6 games.
He is 5’9 and 168 pounds and shoots right.
