WILD WEST TREASURE QUEST
Sponsored by Prestige Hotels
The venomous Vernon Vipers gang have made off with a treasure chest full of goodies including a two night’s stay at a Prestige Hotel to be used for a staycation or at a later date (when restrictions lighten) as well as an autographed Vipers Jersey!
Those sneaky snakes have buried the treasure at an undisclosed location and will be giving video clues to their fans to find the (virtually) ‘buried treasure’ thru a number of video clues. Fans can submit one guess per day on where they think the treasure is buried via the entry form below. You must be precise with your guess!
At the end of two weeks we'll announce which fan was the first to correctly guess the location. We will run thru the clues even if someone guesses the correct location early in the contest.
WILD WEST TREASURE WINNER: Montie Hogberg
Montie was able to identify the secret location on Wednesday, February 10th. The exact location was centre ice at Kal Tire Place.
#1 The first clue to find our hidden treasure - it’s buried in a city established back in 1892.
#2 If you're headed to Coldstream Ranch…suggest you turn your horse around and head towards another ranch!
#3 I would reckon at full gallop it would take two minutes to get from the Prestige Vernon Lodge to the secret location.
#4 The rest of the gang told me to keep an eye on the treasure….but I can only 'kinda' see it from the Tortoise Hill.
#5 You used to be able to watch horses run like the wind, but unlike us, they didn’t have a posse chasing them!
#6 All I can tell you is...the location of the treasure has had three different names since 2001.
#7 You're getting closer to the treasure…there’s usually farmers near it but typically only on Fridays.
#8 Todays clue….All I can say is we buried it about 40 feet from where those striped horses like to hang out!
#9 You need to be quick on the draw if you want to win the battle…at least if you play centre.
#10 It’s the final clue…and its where the wagon wheel meets the dirt road…or where the rubber meets the road…or ice!
