After the Buzzer – Dorey Forces OT With Buzzer Beater, Vipers Fall in OT

Vernon, BC:  Noah Dorey sent Kal Tire Place into a frenzy, scoring a goal with just 1.1 seconds left in regulation to force overtime.  Ultimately it was a Skogen Schrott OT winner that proved the difference as the Vipers fell 6-5.

Noah Dorey led the way offensively with a pair of goals, one in the second period and the game tying goal late in regulation.  Hank Cleaves scored for the second time in as many games and also listed an assist.  Adam Csabi had a 2 assist night.  He now has 5 assists in his last two games and has a 3 game point streak going.

Julian Facchinelli and Carson McGinley also had goals.

Ethan David made 24 saves on 30 shots.  The Vipers did not get a powerplay, but killed off 4 of 5 Prince George powerplays.

Owen Goodbrand had a two goal night for the Spruce Kings.  Linden Makow, Luca Primerano and Kazumo Sasaki each had goals before Schrotts OT winner.

Charlie Zolin had 23 saves on 28 shots.

The Vipers will finish the regular season Saturday night when they host the Powell River Kings.
