Vipers Game Day! – Vipers Finish Regular Season Hosting Powell River

Vernon, BC:  It’s the last game of the regular season as the Vipers go in search of their 33rd win of the season.  That search starts with a rare matchup with the Powell River Kings.

Leading Scorer:  Hank Cleaves (15G, 36A)

Last Game:  It was a back and forth game featuring an impressive 3rd period comeback by the Vipers in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Prince George Spruce Kings.  Noah Dorey had a pair of goals including a buzzer beater with just 1.1 seconds left in regulation to force overtime.  Adam Csabi had a pair of assists and Hank Cleaves tallied a goal and an assist.

Last Game:  Just like the Vipers, the Powell River Kings mounted a 3rd period comeback, albeit they couldn’t find the equalizer in regulation as they fell 4-3 in West Kelowna.  Zander Stewart had a pair of goals, while Christian Maro pitched in with his 15th of the season.  Justin Katz had 31 saves on 35 shots in his return to West Kelowna.
