After the Buzzer – Vipers Lose Second Straight OT Game

Vernon, BC:  Ryan Shostak and Luke Buss had goals including a game tying marker with just 2 minutes remaining, but it wasn't enough as the Wenatchee Wild took the game 3-2 in overtime.

Skip ahead to the last twenty minutes as through 2 periods the game was scoreless and shots were close to even.  Both goaltenders were strong during that span.

Ryan Shostak opened the scoring as Ayden Third set him up just past the 7 minute mark of the period.  The Wild then responded with two goals in less than 30 seconds as Quinn Emerson struck on a 2 on 1, before Owen Bohn found a rebound in front to make it 2-1.  Luke Buss, after being stopped a couple of times, drove the net and slammed home a centering pass from Reagan Milburn to equalize.

In overtime, Cade Stibbe jumped on a strange bounce off the end class to give the visitors the 3-2 win.

The Vipers are back in action tomorrow night as they take on the Wenatchee Wild for the back half of this two game set.
