Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to even up their weekend as they host the Wenatchee Wild for the second time in as many days.
The Vipers (3-3-3-1) come into the game following a 3-2 overtime loss to the Wild last night. Ryan Shostak and Luke Buss had goals, with the latter coming in the final minutes to force overtime. With the goal last night, Buss has 9 points in his first 10 games and 5 points in his last 3. Shostak has a 3 game point streak going as well. Despite being winless in 5, the Vipers have points in 4 of those 5 games.
The Wild (1-3-2-1) registered their first win of the season last night. Cade Stibbe had the game winner while Quinn Emerson and Owen Bohn had the other goals. Tyler Shea was solid in goal for Wenatchee stopping 28 of 30 for his first BCHL win. This game wraps up the 8-game road trip for Wenatchee to start the season.
