Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the commitment of 2006 born defenceman Linden Burrett for next season from the Delta Hockey Academy U18 Prep team.
"Linden is a very mobile defenceman that sees the game very well," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "He Makes great decisions with and without the puck. We expect Linden to develop into a very good two way defenceman that can play in all situations."
Burrett, from Surrey, spent last season with the U17 Prep Program at Delta Hockey Academy. So far this season, he has 3 goals and 9 assists in 17 games with the U18 Prep team.
"I'm honoured to play for such a prestigious organization and in front of the best fans in the BCHL," says Burrett. "I look forward to furthering my development and bringing a championship to the city of Vernon."
Burrett is 6'1, 163 pounds.
