Game On

The Vernon Vipers would like to thank all of our great fans for their patience while we work out the logistics of hosting two games (6pm Saturday and 7pm Sunday) at Kal Tire Place North. We're currently trying to determine the number of season ticket holders what will be attending these games - as they'll be given priority admission. We need season ticket holders and fans who have already purchased single game tickets to contact our office - so that we can arrange a voucher for admission.
PLEASE CONTACT THE VIPERS OFFICE at 542-6022

On game days - admission will be rush seating. Season ticket holders will be allowed in first (5pm on Sat and 6:30pm on Sun). Other ticket holders will then be allowed to find a remaining seat or standing room spot. We ask that fans allow wheelchairs to use the marked positions in the arena. We will also have a full concessions plus beer and wine sales.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How are you going to fit all the season ticket holders in a 400 seat arena?: Not easily! This has been a logisitcal nightmare for our team who have been working very hard to find solutions. We can seat 400 fans -with standing room on the upper and lower concourse areas. This is far from ideal and is extremely frustating for everyone. We are hopeful that we can make the best of a terrible situation.

Why didn't the Vernon Vipers find an alternative location?:  We did explore other arena options in nearby BCHL rinks but due to scheduling and available ice times - it was not a feasible option. Other nearby rinks also didn't have more seating (room) as Kal Tire Place North or the infrastructure for broadcasting the game.

Can you not reschedule the games?:  We did look into that but unfortunately because of league scheduling and being near the end of the regular season - it did not appear to be an option for us. Also due to the fact that these are island opponents it made it more difficult to reschedule.

Will there be another option to watch the games?:  We are currently working very hard to have our flo-hockey broadcasts in place - we are also looking at the ability to show the game in Kal Tire Place on the big screen - we'll have more information on that later this week.
