The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce a commitment for next season as well as a NCAA commitment for a player on this year’s roster.
Forward Joe Sacco has committed to the University of New Hampshire for next season. The product of Reading Massachusetts recorded 10 goals and 9 assists in 56 games for the Vipers this season. Sacco will turn 20 on June 1st.
Vernon would also like to welcome Defenceman Chris Jandric to the club for next season. Playing for the Cariboo Cougars of the BCMML Jandric appeared in 39 games posting 5 goals and 29 assists for 34 points. The 1998 born Jandric is the younger brother of current Viper Steven Jandric. The younger Jandric has appeared in a pair of games with the Snakes as an AP this season.
The Vipers would like to wish Joe the best of luck in the future and welcome Chris to the Hockey Club next season.
The Vernon Vipers will play Games 3 and 4 of the BCHL Interior Semi Final on March 8 and 9th at home. Tickets are on sale now at the Viper Office in Kal Tire Place from 9-4 Monday to Friday. Season ticket holders will have until noon on game day to pick up their seats.
