Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce that Ethan Merner has committed to Merrimack College.
"Ethan is a young player who continues to grow and learn the junior game," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "Ethan loves coming to the rink and always has a smile on his face. We look forward to continuing to develop Ethan's all around game as he readies himself for college hockey in a few years."
Merner has 2 goals and 4 assists in his first season in the BCHL.
"I'm extremely honoured and excited to join such a great program," says Merner. "I have so many people to thank from coaches, trainers, teachers and most of all my parents and family. I couldn't be happier with the school I have chosen and can't wait to see what the future holds."
The Merrimack Warriors are a Division 1 program and compete in the Hockey East Conference. The play out of the J. Thom Lawler Rink in North Andover, Massachusetts.
