Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of 2005 born defenceman Joey Mugaas.
“We are really excited to be adding Joey to the roster,” says Assistant Coach and Director of Scouting and Recruiting Colton Sparrow. “He’s a great kid with a lot of really good tools on the ice. He’s excited to be a Viper and we are looking forward to having him join us.”
Mugaas, from Medina, Minnesota spent last season as the Captain of Orono High in the USHS-MN league. He scored 11 goals and 31 assists in 31 games.
“I’m ecstatic about joining such an elite organization like Vernon,” says Mugaas. “I’m ready to compete for the collective success of the Vipers and I can’t wait to get things started.”
Mugaas is 6’2, 183 pounds and shoots right.
