Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of 2005 born forward Sean Gibbons for next season.
“Sean has very good leadership skills and as an older first year player, we are expecting him to come in and contribute right away to our forward group,” says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. “He has good hockey instincts and we look forward to continue to work with him to round out his complete 200 foot game.”
The Fairfield, Connecticut product is Captain of the hockey program at Brunswick School. He has 4 goals and 5 assists this season. Last year was a breakout campaign for Gibbons with 21 goals and 21 assists in just 32 games.
“I’m honoured to be a part of such a great organization in Vernon,” says Gibbons. “I’m excited to try and help the team win next year, while also being a big part of the community.”
Gibbons is 5’8, 180 pounds and shoots right.
