March. 24 @ Penticton, 7PM

Last Game: The Vipers recorded their 3rd clean sheet of the season blanking the Merritt Centennials on Friday night by a 4-0 score.  Ethan Sundar, Ayden Third, Reagan Milburn and Lee Parks had goals.  Ethan David turned away 22 shots for his 2nd shutout of the season and 5th of his career and also tallied an assist.

Today’s Game:  This is the conclusion of a solid 4-game homestand.  The Vipers have mostly thrived at home this season.  Head-to-head the Vees have had the clear advantage.  Looking a little bit closer the Vipers were right in their last meeting.  Some letdowns early and late in periods were undoing.  The team looks quite a bit different and will look to keep the strong home play going.

Penticton Vees

GM & Head Coach: Fred Harbinson

2022-23: GP 30 – 28-2-0-0, 1st Interior Conference

Home: 16-0-0-0

Away: 12-2-0-0

Goals For: 169

Goals Against: 54

Powerplay: 46 for 127 – 36.2% (1st in BCHL)

Penalty Kill: 67 of 79 – 84.8% (2nd in BCHL)

Last Game: The Vees were victorious last night downing the Warriors 9-2.  The Nadeau brothers put on a show with Bradly registering 1 goal and 6 assists, while brother Josh had 3 goals and 2 assists.  Luca Di Pasquo made 16 saves on 18 shots.  Their powerplay was 2 for 4.

Today’s Game:  Following their first two losses of the season in December, Penticton has bounced back in a big way.  They’ve outscored the opposition 30-5.  The big 3 of the Nadeau’s and Suniev continue to make the most noise, but it’s the depth that continues to be a difference maker for the Vees.  Five players outside of the top 3 have registered over 20 points.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast on 107.5 Beach Radio and Hockey TV, starting with the pre-game show at 1:45 pm.
