Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to wrap up a perfect 7-game road trip and 10 straight wins as they tangle with Penticton Vees at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
The Vipers (16-14-3-3) come in on an impressive 9-game win streak. They’ve won 6 in a row on the road, most recently a gutsy 2-1 shootout win over Cranbrook. It’s been a long trip for the Vipers that’s seen them tour across the great province, downing Merritt, PG, Trail and Cranbrook. The Vipers have been in 8-straight one goal games. The Vipers also have 6 straight wins on the road.
The Vees (28-6-0-2) come in on a nice streak of their own having won 7 straight games. Most recently on Saturday night they took down the Trail Smoke Eaters 8-2. Their coming off a recent 5 game road trip that was also successful including three wins in Wenatchee and a big one in Salmon Arm that saw them win 2-1 at the Shaw Centre.
This is the fourth meeting of the season between these two teams.
