Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the commitment of David Brandes (04) from Holderness School for next season.
"David is an elite skater and can break pressure with his feet and play making ability," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "He will push the pace of our attack offensively. David comes with great character and leadership abilities."
The Toronto, Ontario product is currently at Holderness School in Plymouth, New Hampshire. In his last full season with the Toronto Red Wings U16 AAA team, he registered 9 goals and 7 assists in 38 games played.
"I'm very proud and excited to wear a Vipers jersey next season," says Brandes. "I can't wait to get to Vernon and meet my teammates and become part of such a great organization."
