Last Game: The Vipers road troubles continued as they fell 5-0 to the Surrey Eagles last night.  The Vipers went 0 for 4 on the powerplay and surrendered a shorthanded goal, while the penalty kill killed off 2 of 3.

Today’s Game: The Vipers look to end a five-game winless streak on the road as they take on the Coquitlam Express for the only time this season.  The Vipers last win on the road game at the Showcase in Chilliwack when they downed the Bulldogs.  The last time the Vipers were in Coquitlam it was a 2-1 Express win nearly three years ago to the day.

Last Game: The Express come in to the game following a 5-3 win over Langley last night.  Drew Garzone had two goals while Emmett McHardy pitched in with a pair of helpers.  Brady Smith made 26 saves for the win.  The Express PK was a perfect 5 for 5.

Today’s Game: Coquitlam has won their last three games at home with the victory last night, a 6-1 win over Cranbrook and a 5-4 shootout win over Powell River.  Coquitlam has been a better team away from Poirier with a record of 6-2-2-1.  Four players have done the majority of the damage offensively for the Express with Mirko Buttazzoni leading the team with 9 goals and 13 assists.
