Vipers Game Day – Vipers Look To Even Things Up With Warriors

Vernon, BC:  The Vipers have had their troubles in games against the West Kelowna Warriors.  They are 1-3 against the Tribe and they’ll look to chip into that deficit tonight at 7:30.

The Vipers (5-3-1) come into the game following a thrilling 3-2 shootout win over Salmon Arm on Saturday night.  The game was even for 57 total minutes.  Ryan Shostak and Seth Bafaro had the Viper goals and Roan Clarke made 33 saves for his first BCHL win.  The Viper powerplay was 1 for 2 that night and continues to lead the pod with 32.1%.

The Warriors (4-3-1-1) come in following a heartbreaking loss to Salmon Arm last night.  The Warriors got out to a 2-0 lead only to see Salmon Arm get a lead of their own.  Marcus Joughin score with just 90 seconds left to give West K the lead.  Simon Tassy tied it with just 20 seconds left.  In the shootout, Hunter Sansbury was the ony one to score.

Its the 5th of 10 meetings between these two teams and its the midway mark of the Pod Season for the Vipers.
