Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to take a stangle hold on top spot of the Vernon Pod tonight when they take on the West Kelowna Warriors 9th of 10 meetings.
The Vipers (10-5-1-1) come into the game following a 6-2 loss to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Saturday night. The Vipers bookended the scoring with a powerplay goal from Logan Lorenz and a 3rd period tally from Luke Pakulak. The Vipers surrendered 6 goals in the middle of what a disappointing game all the way around. The game finished up a stretch of 12 games in a span of 20 days and a 4 game in 6 night stretch. Tonight is their 13 game in 22 days.
The Warriors (6-8-1-1) come in following a 4-1 loss to Salmon Arm yesterday. Porter Dawson scored the lone goal for West K, his second in as many games. The Warriors have lost 3 straight games since their 3-0 win over Salmon Arm. Elan Barlevwise returned to the lineup for the first time in 9 games yesterday and the Warrior roster looks a little bit fuller as a result.
