Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of 2007-born defenceman Liam Magnuson.
“Liam is a steady defender who has a high hockey IQ,” says Vipers GM and Head Coach Matt Cooke. “He is comfortable playing big minutes if necessary and will fit in nicely with the style of hockey we play.”
Magnuson, from Calgary, Alberta, spent both this season and his rookie campaign with the Canmore Eagles, appearing in 70 games and recording 23 points over that span.
“I’m excited to be joining the Vipers,” says Magnuson. “They are a great group of guys and have a great staff. I’m looking forward to helping the team as much as I can.”
The Vernon Vipers welcome Liam and his family to the organization.
