Vipers Sign Koji Gibson For Next Season

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce they have signed 2007 born forward Koji Gibson for next season.

“Koji is a great young player and we are extremely excited to add him for next season,” says Assistant Coach of the Vipers Colton Sparrow.  “He plays the game hard with plenty of skill and pace.  He’s very competitive by nature and extremely focused.  It’s a thrill to add Koji and his family to the Vipers organization.”

Gibson, from North Vancouver, has spent the last two seasons with Burnaby Winter Club U18 Prep.  Suiting up in just 3 games, Gibson posted 4 goals and 3 assists.

“I’m very excited to put on a Vipers jersey and play in Vernon,”  says Gibson.  “I would like to personally thank both John and Tom Glen along with the coaching staff for this opportunity.  I look forward to being a part of this team and contributing to the success of this organization.”

Gibson is 5’11, 181 pounds and shoots right.

Please join us in welcoming Koji and his family to the Vipers organization.
