The Vipers have just one win in six games vs the Silverbacks sit in 6th place just five points back of Salmon Arm for the final playoff spot with seven games remaining in the regular season. Vernon has won two out of their last three games and have just three wins in their last eight games away from home and have won just twice in their last six games and are 4-4-1-1 in their last ten games. The Vipers will finish the 2012-13 regular season playing seven of their final ten games on the road.

The Backs have played seven of their last eleven games on the road. The Silverbacks come into tonight's game tied with the Trail Smoke Eaters for the fourth and final playoff spot sit five points up on the 6th place Vernon Vipers. Salmon Arm's last win come back on Feburary 2nd after a 3-1 win in Vernon vs the Vipers. The Backs have won five straight over the Vipers and lead the season series 5-1. The Silverbacks have just two wins in their last seven home games. Salmon Arm is 3-6-0-1 in their last ten games.
