Vernon, BC: Jack Glen and Nick Kent had goals, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to West Kelowna 5-2.
The Warriors opened the scoring as Chase Dafoe knocked home a rebound. Seven minutes later a point shot from Nick Ardanaz deflected off of John Evans in front to make it 2-0 after 1 period.
In the second period the Vipers power play cut the deficit as Jack Glen banged home a rebound to make it 2-1. John Evan’s restored the two goal lead for West K later in the period to make it 3-1 after 2.
In the third it was John Evans again for his third goal of the game as he kept on a 2 on 1 making it 4-1. Nick Kent scored to make it 4-2 before West K sealed it on a power play goal from Marcus Joughin.
The Vipers are back in action Friday night in Prince George
