After the Buzzer – Vipers Finish Weekend With Split with Spruce Kings

Prince George, BC:  Adam Csabi and George Stavrianeas had goals, but they were bookended around 4 Spruce Kings goals in a 4-2 loss at Kopar Memorial Arena on Satuday.

Adam Csabi opened the scoring in the second period after a nice feed from Hank Cleaves from behind the net.  It the rookies 18th goal of the season.

PG would then strike on the powerplay, before netting 3 goals in just a handful of minutes later in the period to pull away.

Early in the 3rd period George Stavrianeas deflected a point shot home for his 9th goal of the season.  The Vipers pushed to get it a bit closer, but couldn’t shrink the deficit.

Ethan David finished with 29 saves on 33 shots.  The Vipers didn’t receive a powerplay in the game and their PK was 2 of 3.

Linden Makow and JR Perdion had two goals.  Ryan Sanborn made 21 saves on 23 shots.
