Vipers Game Day – Vipers Look To Finish Road Schedule With a Win in PG

Prince George, BC:  The Vernon Vipers look to win their fourth straight game as they tangle with the Prince George Spruce Kings on Saturday night.

Last Game:  Adam Csabi goal in the opening minute last night was all the offense needed for the Vipers as they shutout PG 1-0.  Ethan David made 34 saves for the shutout victory.  The Vipers PK was outstanding killing off all 5 PG powerplays.

Prince George Spruce Kings

Record:  15-33-3-0

Power Play:  45 for 199 – 22.6%

Penalty Kill:  122 of 169 – 72.2%

Leading Scorer:  Kilian McGregor-Bennett (19G, 18A)

Last Game:  Prince George had a really good performance last night, albeit in a 1-0 loss to Vernon.  The Spruce Kings carried the majority of the play but couldn’t solve Ethan David.  Charlie Zolin was solid making 15 saves on 16 shots.  The PG powerplay had some looks, but also failed to convert, going 0 for 5.  Their PK was 3 for 3.
