Vipers Game Day – Vipers Look To Punch Ticket To Second Round

Trail, BC:  The Vipers earned their third win of the series last night with a win in Trail.  They look to book a spot in the BCHL second round tonight as they take on the Smoke Eaters in Game 4 of the best of seven series.

Last Game:  The Vipers were victorious in a back and forth affair at Cominco Arena last night in Game 3 of the series.  Shea Busch scored a pair of goals, Bronson Ross and Erik Pastro had 2 assist nights.  Anthony Cliche scored shorthanded and Adam Csabi scored the game winner in 3rd period.  Isaac Tremblay scored his second in as many games with the empty netter.  Ethan David had 34 saves on 37 shots.

Record:  0-3

Goals For:  5

Goals Against:  12

Power Play:  2 for 13 – 15.4%

Penalty Kill:  7 of 9 – 77.8%

Leading Scorer:  Adam Parsons (2G)

Last Game:  Trail jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Adam Parsons and Mathieu Cobetto-Roy.  Parsons would score again on the powerplay.  Trail was 2 for 5 on the powerplay and 3 for 3 on the penalty kill, although they did surrender a shorthanded goal.  Teagan Kendrick had 29 saves on 33 shots.
