Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of defenceman Matthew Sutter (04).
"Matthew is a player that plays the game extremely hard," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "He skates well and will bring a physical presence to our backend."
The Spruce Grove, AB product spent last season with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL. He suited up in 48 games. As a 16-year old he played 56 games with the Northeast Generals of the NAHL.
"I'm excited to be here," says Sutter. "I've heard nothing but good things about Vernon and the organization. I can't wait to get things started and go on a run with a great group of guys."
