Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of forward Nick Mikan (04).
“Nick has great size and skating ability,” says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. “He is a player that will bring a physical element to our current group of forwards.”
Mikan, from Edina, Minnesota spent last season with the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL where he tallied 16 goals and 18 assists. He played 6 games with Cedar Rapids of the USHL.
“I’m very thankful for the opportunity to get to play in Vernon,” says Mikan. “I’m excited to get going and contribute to the team.”
Mikan is 6’4, 215 pounds and is a right handed shot. He’s committed to the University of St. Thomas.
